On the Mend is built around a team of highly qualified therapists. Harry — who founded the programme after his own years of nervous system dysregulation and recovery — is here for support and guidance. The clinical work is done by the specialists below.
The clinical work is done by trained, accredited therapists with backgrounds spanning the NHS, The Priory, and specialist private practice. Harry — who went through his own years of dysregulation and recovery — is present throughout for coaching and support, but is clear that the professional team are the heart of what makes this work.

Harry founded On the Mend after years of nervous system dysregulation — driven by perfectionism, chronic stress, and high-performance pressure long before a viral illness tipped things into full breakdown. That culminated in a week in hospital in 2024 following a silent meditation retreat. He built this programme because the support structure he needed didn't exist.
He's not a therapist. His role is to be present — as someone who has been through what members are going through, who understands the terrain from the inside, and who is available throughout the week via WhatsApp to answer questions, help with pacing decisions, or just to be there when things feel hard.
The clinical work is done by the practitioners below. Harry is clear that his recovery wouldn't have been possible without the support of trained professionals — which is exactly why he built a team of them.
Fiona combines EMDR with somatic and neurobiological approaches to resolve persistent symptoms, chronic pain, fatigue, and emotional imprints stored in the nervous system. She holds a Master's in psychotherapy and specialises in trauma and nervous system dysregulation.
Trained in multiple EMDR modalities — including Recent Traumatic Events protocols, Parts/ego-state EMDR, and Attachment-Informed EMDR — with advanced expertise in dissociation, depersonalisation, and derealisation. She brings both clinical depth and lived experience of chronic illness.
Trained in EMDR and Attachment-Focused EMDR by senior clinicians directly in Dr Francine Shapiro's lineage. Victoria works gently and non-judgementally, helping clients feel seen, safe, and understood — integrating EMDR with practical calming and grounding strategies clients can use between sessions.
Experienced with adults, adolescents, children, and babies. She offers both short-term EMDR and longer-term integrative psychotherapy, using play and arts-based tools where helpful.
Certified Clinical Somatic Educator, Essential Somatics® Movement Teacher, and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner. Samantha specialises in releasing chronic tension, pain, and emotional holding through Thomas Hanna's neuromuscular somatic work — and personally overcame a decade of chronic pain after discovering clinical somatics.
Works with both clients and therapists to create lasting, body-based change that complements trauma therapy and emotional processing.
With over 22 years across prisons, charities, private psychiatric hospitals, and elite clinics including The Priory and The Kusnacht Practice, Tamsin brings sophisticated somatic-focused trauma work integrating somatic processing, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and relational therapy.
Her breadth of clinical experience means she's worked with some of the most complex cases in the field — and brings that depth to every session.
Sarah brings over 26 years of experience in NHS settings, specialising in complex PTSD, dissociation, and trauma-related symptoms. Accredited in EMDR and CBT, with additional training in DBT, Compassion Focused Therapy, IFS-informed work, and Cognitive Analytic Therapy.
Her integrative approach draws on whichever combination of methods best serves each individual — with particular depth in the intersection of complex trauma and physical symptoms.
Deborah brings over 20 years of integrative psychotherapy practice, tailoring each session to the individual. Experienced with depression, anxiety, bereavement, major life transitions, trauma, and PTSD-related symptoms.
She draws on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, humanistic, and EMDR approaches — using whatever serves the person in front of her rather than a fixed model.
Valentina works holistically, addressing both the emotional and physical aspects of distress accompanying long-term health challenges. With over 10 years of clinical experience, she specialises specifically in Long Covid, chronic pain, IBS, and autoimmune conditions — bringing rare expertise in the psychological dimensions of physical illness.
